In the book The Four Agreements, the author, Don Miguel Ruiz, reveals the source of self-limiting beliefs that rob us of joy and create needless suffering. The “domestication” he speaks of leads to development of patterns that result in dynamics that are frustrating and unhealthy.
Using horses as mentors and subjects allows the agreements and their importance to come into a clearer focus. The result is the ability to recognize and transform the old patterns, beliefs and perceptions that keep us from our joy.
