About the event

Exploring Mindfulness with Horses

Do you enjoy being in nature and with animals? Are you looking for a break from busy everyday life? Come and join us for a breather!

This class will offer you techniques to manage stress, reduce anxiety and be compassionate with yourself and others. Being in a mindful state helps you focus on the here and now.

And what does mindfulness have to do with horses?

Horses are mindful by definition. They live in the present moment, their presence and heartbeat regulates our nervous system and calms us.

What you can expect:

  • Meditation
  • Horse observation
  • Breathing techniques
  • Journaling
  • Nature walk
  • Art project

Dress for the weather and the farm setting, wear sturdy closed toed shoes (no flip flops, crocs or sandals), bring a hat and water.
